China protests: Toyota resumes Chinese operations

Toyota said some production locations, making both vehicles and parts, were affected.
Toyota Motor has resumed all operations in China, after protests over a territorial dispute caused disruptions for Japanese businesses in the country.
Last week, Japanese car company showrooms were attacked, and some production halted.
The demonstrations were against Japan buying islands in the East China Sea, that both countries claim.
Other Japanese businesses started resuming operations at the end of last week as protests eased.
The protests were sparked by the Japanese purchase of the islands known as Senkaku in Japan and Diaoyu in China.
Thousands of protesters were on the streets in many Chinese cities.
